Entry Criteria
Who can enter?
This category is open to professional Rugby League teams - in-house teams, local authority, contractors, those employed by third-party who work at the stadium and/or training ground can enter and/or be nominated. A minimum of 10 fixtures must be played at the club/venue is required to enter this award.
Entry / Nomination Criteria
Teams can enter or be nominated by an employer, manager or third party. The award is judged taking into account the 12 months prior to the award category application submission date.
Judging Criteria
The judges will be looking for evidence to support your entry in the following areas: 1) Club infrastructure, staffing levels and number of pitches. 2) Internal pitch usage – club use, commercial use, hire etc. 3) Community use on pitches and/or external use e.g. hire, concerts and major events etc (where applicable). 4) National Governing Body (NGB) engagement or initiatives – this can include community programmes, tournaments, school usage via NGB. 5) Evidence of optimising and/or maximising budget and resources available . 6) Evidence of incorporating any relevant research development for improving the playing surface. 7) Evidence of use of appropriate and safe use of machinery and/or equipment. 8) Entrants/Nominees must demonstrate strong technical ability. 9) Evidence of continual development, learning and implementation for staff (including training and mental health & wellbeing).
