Phase 2: Policies and Procedures
General Expectations
As a resident of Hope House, you agree to commit to a structured, faith-based program designed to promote lasting recovery, accountability, and personal growth. The following policies and procedures are to be upheld at all times:
1. Spiritual and Program Participation
Attend all scheduled Hope House events, including daily prayer, devotions, and counseling sessions.
Participate in all classes relevant to your demographic and recovery journey.
Commit to 30 mins a day Prayer time next door with a counselor.
Commit to a 7-day “no outside contact” adjustment period upon arrival, except for communication with Hope House staff.
2. Behavior and Conduct
Demonstrate respectful behavior toward staff and fellow residents at all times. Disrespect or disruptive behavior may result in immediate dismissal.
Follow all directions given by the House Coordinator, including completion of assigned daily tasks and chores.
Maintain punctuality and a positive, cooperative attitude.
3. Hygiene and Appearance
Maintain personal hygiene and a clean living space.
Adhere to the dress code. Skirts or dresses are required for church services. Shoulders and knees covered , and no shorts, tanks or pajamas outside. NO YOGA PANTS ever!! We are Women of God and will dress for success !!
4. Appointments and Documentation
Remain consistent in attending all appointments, including those for securing documentation (e.g., Social Security card, birth certificate, ID).
Actively seek employment within 7 days of entering the program, unless medically exempt.
Work a minimum of 20 hours per week at an approved location. This requirement applies even if receiving Social Security or disability benefits.
5. Communication and Visitation
Personal cell phones are permitted but must not disrupt program activities, meetings, or house responsibilities.
All incoming items are subject to inspection by staff.
Visitors are only allowed on designated family days, scheduled once per month.
After 30 days, one approved escort may accompany residents off property, pending staff approval.
6. Substance-Free Environment
Absolutely no smoking or vaping . We are a smoke free environment.
Residents must comply with random drug testing and room inspections.
7. Legal and Financial Responsibilities
Attend all court-ordered appointments, probation or parole meetings, and remain compliant with all legal and financial obligations.
Residents are responsible for a monthly program fee of $600, beginning 60 days after arrival.
8. Curfew and Time Off-Site
A strict 9:00 PM curfew is enforced with no exceptions.
Leaving the property is permitted only with an approved pass, for employment, or when attending church functions.
9. Community Living Standards
Borrowing money or taking food from other residents without permission is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the program.
Romantic relationships are not permitted during your stay. Focus must remain on personal healing and development.
10. Transportation
Hope House will provide transportation for the first 7 days. After that:
$5 per trip within town
$10 per trip to surrounding areas of the Golden Triangle
All travel beyond these areas requires pre-approval by the Hope House Board.
11. Policy Acknowledgment
Eviction due to rule violations will result in forfeiture of all deposits and rent.
This document is subject to amendment. Residents will be notified of any changes.
Program Commitment
I understand that Hope House is a Christian-based recovery program, and I am committing up to nine months of inpatient treatment. I acknowledge that true life change begins with a sincere desire and personal accountability.

You will recieve a Plan of Action -- expectations of classes that will be mandatory upon arrival, that you will complete and recieve a certificate for.
