I hereby give my consent for the treatment of chemical peel to be done to my face and/or areas of my body.
The procedure, benefits, and risks of Chemical Peel was explained to me. I understand and acknowledge the risks and benefits.
I understand that this treatment is a program. It may require sessions or cycles in order to reach my desired results. It has been explained to me that this treatment is an outpatient procedure that can be done in clinics or offices.
It has been explained to me that during treatment, I might feel a burning sensation that would last for 1-2 minutes upon application of the chemical to my skin. I understand that after a few days, the area where the chemical peel was applied may darken and/or shall become glossy or shiny. These days might prevent me from visiting work or go to places where I will be exposed to sunlight. In this regard, I shall comply with the strict requirements given to me by the doctor.
I understand that there are no guarantees that the desired result would be achieved, multipule treatment are required!
After the skin peel, the skin my experiance:
1. Redness & Flushing 1-8 hours
2.Dryness, Tightening feeling.
3. Tingling, Itching.
4. Tenderness (sunburn like)
5. Stinging sensation
6. Light peeling
7. Blotching / pimples (purging) can take a week to heal
I understand that complications may occur, although this is rare. In case such happens, i will call my therapis asap...follow the advise given and then it must be treated immediately by my doctor.
Aftercare!
reframe from touching the skin, to prevent infections
Use a clean pillow the fisrt night after your treatment
Sterile water can be used on the skin for 24hrs for washing - (pat dry Dont rub!)
ONLY used the cream giving by Carlie, on the skin for 48hrs
NO saunas, Hot baths / Showers , Jacuzzi , Swimming, Gym for 48hrs
Use SPF daily for 2 weks after your treatment
No waxing or Hair removal treatment ,No IPL /laser treatment on the area for 2 weeks
NO exfoliants , Scrubs, or Retinal based products (check you daily faical range), vitamin A etc for 7 days
No Botox /filler or polynucleotides for 2 weeks prior or post treatment.
