Volunteer Expectations

- Must be atleast 16 years of age

- Set up, clean up

- Assisting that the event overall runs smoothly

Barber Expectations

Responsible for full set up that includes but is not limited to 

- Clippers, neckstrips, tools, etc...

- Disinfectant spray, Clipper cleaning spray

- Ring light for personal use

- Extra power strips

*chairs will be provided*

Braiders

You will be providing simple braids, in and out.

Responsible for full set up that includes but is not limited to

-Hair

- Combs, brushes, gel/jam, etc..

-Disinfecting spray, Tool cleaner

-Ring light for personal use

- Extra power strips

*chairs will be provided*

About the Event

 

This event will be one of our greatest service projects. It's purpose is to provide an invaluable opportunity for parents to recieve much needed help with school supplies, backpacks, and proper grooming for their children. We will have music, food trucks, a bounce house, FREE school supplies, haircuts and braids. Donations will go towards school supplies and future events. We are expecting over 200 kids.

New Life Church 3311 N. Powers Orlando Fl 32818 on Sunday, August 10th from 3pm - while supplies last. 

Additional Information

Event begins at 3:00 pm on August 10th, 2025 and ends when we run out of supplies. Please arrive 2.5 HOURS before start time for set up (12:30pm) . Clean up can take up to 1 hour after event. (8pm)
