    Volunteering is a way to serve the community for the sake of ALLAH while using your skills for good. Please submit your interest below; this does not obligate you in any way. We will contact you and check your availability. If completing service hours, please bring any required forms.
  • Volunteer Policy:

    1. Volunteer Services: Volunteer agrees to provide voluntary services to the MAB. These services may include, but are not limited to, assistance with MAB events, maintenance, administrative tasks, or other activities as needed by the MAB.

    2. Compliance with Rules and Regulations: Volunteer agrees to adhere to all the rules, policies, and regulations established by MAB. Failure to do so may result in the termination of volunteer status. Volunteer will comply with all local, state, and federal laws while performing their volunteer duties.

    3. Respectful Behavior: Volunteer commits to treating all members, visitors, and fellow volunteers with respect, courtesy, and kindness. Volunteer agrees to maintain a high standard of behavior and will not engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive conduct while volunteering at the MAB. 4. Language and Conduct: Volunteer shall refrain from using profanity or offensive language. Volunteer will conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on MAB and the broader community.

    5. Confidentiality: Volunteer acknowledges and agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive or private information they may come across during their volunteer service.

    6. Termination: MAB reserves the right to terminate the volunteer relationship at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of this Agreement, misconduct, or behavior that is detrimental to MAB or its members.

    7. Indemnification: Volunteer agrees to indemnify and hold the MAB harmless from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of their volunteer activities.

     8. Agreement Period: This Agreement shall remain in effect until either party provides written notice of termination to the other party.

     9. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

    10. Leads and Coordinators: No volunteer is to represent themselves as “lead or coordinator” with any organization or elsewhere (third party organizations) as a representative of MAB. Violation of this rule will result in termination of volunteer status along with financial or legal reprimand.
