CCP - Performing Arts Scholarship (college, training, competition)
About: This scholarship is designed to support students who are pursuing a degree, competition, activity, or career in the performing arts, including music, theater, dance, and related disciplines. It aims to recognize and reward students who demonstrate exceptional talent, creativity, and dedication to their craft. Ideal candidates are those who consistently excel in their artistic endeavors, actively participate in performances, competitions, and related activities, and show a genuine passion for the performing arts. This scholarship seeks to empower aspiring artists who are committed to honing their skills, contributing to the cultural landscape, and making a significant impact in the performing arts community.
Eligibility Requirements:
- High School or College Student
This scholarship is for those in or applying to HIGH SCHOOL or COLLEGE (undergraduate, graduate work, certificate, trade schools). Scholarship may be used for school tuition, competition (i.e. entry fees), training, apprenticeship, residency, materials, and supplies.
Application Requirements:
1) Letter of Recommendation on company letterhead from at least one current or former teacher or community group organiztion for which you have served and volunteered.
2) Acceptence letter into school, competition, apprenticeship, and/or program.
3) Complete short essay questions.
4) Provide link to an online performace or portfolio such as social media/youtube/website.
5) Applications must be complete and received by: November 16, 2024. (electronic submission)
**This scholarship is intended for those with serious intent to pursue excellence in both their life as an active community member (civic engagement, volunteerism) and in their pursuits in the arts.
