Our Mission:
The Levine Center to End Hate seeks to unite the greater Rochester community in overcoming hate through education, dialogue, and positive action.
Qualifications:
- High School Student (grades 10 and 11 strongly preferred, but open to grade 12)
- Resident of Monroe county or a county surrounding Monroe
- Available to participate in in-person work sessions at least two (2) days per week after school hours (work hours to be determined), as well as two virtual days per week, for a total of 10 hours (plus special events as needed, not to exceed the 10 hour total)
- Available to participate in Youth Engagement Subcommittee (in-person or virtually) as needed
- A passion for community engagement
Position Requirements:
- Collaborate with fellow Youth Ambassadors and members of the Levine Center to End Hate and Jewish Federation staff in developing events and programs
- Attend and participate in community events as needed
- Support in research and development of youth-centered programs, events, and initiatives to prevent hate-based practices (e.g. bullying) and empower local youth voices
- Act as liasion between the Levine Center and home school district
- Participate in training and professional development
- Public speaking

Pay:
Youth Ambassadors will earn a stipend for the 2024-2025 of a set amount yet to be determined.
