20th Annual Momentum Art Competition Application

Each artist may enter up to 3 works of original art for consideration. Pieces must be the artist's original concept and idea. Work that has been entered in past Works of Growth and Recovery Exhibitions may not be submitted. Selected pieces will be shown in the Momentum Exhibition in October, if the artwork chosen is received when requested & in gallery-ready condition. Please note that artwork information listed will appear online & in the program as you fill it out, so please make sure your information is accurate. All applications are due by August 31st, 2024.

Responsibilities & Release Form
Momentum has hosted a different juror for each exhibition over the past 20 years. That juror is responsible for making decisions regarding which pieces are accepted and which are not. Entries are made anonymous during the jurying process to ensure there is no bias. Decisions made by the juror are based on their personal opinions and vision for the show.

Community Support Advocates and the Momentum Art Program will take reasonable care in handling and displaying all entries, however, we are not responsible for any damages or missing items. Artists are responsible for providing their own insurance on all entered works.

We are proud to share your work and stories and use this information, not only to help you gain recognition as an artist, but also to get sponsorship and support for our show and Momentum as a whole.

By submitting your application, you are authorizing CSA/Momentum to use any provided biographical information, artist statement and images taken of you and/or your artwork for promotional purposes if we choose to do so. We will not release any contact information unless otherwise agreed upon.

By checking the box you acknowledge that all works entered are yours and are original concepts and ideas. You understand that all chosen pieces must be received by Momentum staff in gallery-ready status, or the piece may not be displayed.
