  • Paws for a Picnic Photo Competition 2024 - Terms & Conditions

    This Photography competition (the ‘Competition’) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions (‘Conditions’) and by entering the Competition you agree to be bound by them.

    1. Entries must be in landscape and in HIGH RESOLUTION format (minimum 350 dpi) as a PNG/JPEG /JPG. Entries must be submitted via this online form by 12:00 GMT on Friday, 30 August 2024. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
    2. The winner will be selected and notified by 6 September 2024 at the latest, by email. Prizes are subject to availability. If, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to provide the stated prize, we will arrange an alternative prize of a similar value. All participants will receive a PDF certificate via email.
    3. The Competition is open to all persons over the age of 18yrs. Proof of age, identity, and/or eligibility may be required.
    4. All entries must be an original work by the contestant and shall not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties.
    5. All entry data will be stored securely and will not be shared elsewhere. The winner’s details will be shared with the distributors of the prize.  
    6. Humanimal Trust reserves the right to disqualify any submission deemed as offensive, abusive or plagiarised. 
    7. Humanimal Trust reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time, if deemed necessary or if circumstances arise outside of the Trust’s control.
    8. The applicant agrees that Humanimal Trust will retain the submitted photograph, which it may use to promote Paws for a Picnic and the work of Humanimal Trust in media worldwide in perpetuity. 
    9. By submitting your entry, you are declaring that you have permission from the people being photographed. You have also declared that the image(s) are being entered into this competition and may be used by Humanimal Trust to promote Paws for a Picnic and other aspects of its work in media worldwide in perpetuity.
    10. By submitting your entry into this competition, should there be anyone in the photographs under the age of 18 years, have obtained the consent of a parent or guardian, and will provide us with the contact details we need to verify this. You have also declared that the image(s) are being entered into this competition and may be used by Humanimal Trust to promote Paws for a Picnic and other aspects of its work in media worldwide in perpetuity.
    11. Personal information (such as first and last name, and country of residence) may be used in publications and distributed to the media.  Please contact info@humanimaltrust.org.uk to inform Humanimal Trust of the withdrawal of consent.
    12. Entries that do not comply with all the contest rules will be disqualified.
