Positions Include:
Bartender - Serving, running a register, and deep cleaning in a fast-paced, loud environment. Must have bartending experience. We serve beer on tap, wine, and simple cocktails. Must be comfortable with computers and counting back cash. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and use stairs repeatedly.
Door - Be available at the entrance for the entirety of each event scanning tickets and surveying attendees for appropriate age, disposition, etc. Monitoring as guests walk in and out that they are not transporting beverages. Regular cleaning and deep cleaning tasks.
Security - Friendly facilitation of the safety of patrons, artists, and staff. Experience with the public and with de-escalation, willing to be outside rain or shine, and willing to assist with medical emergencies or any heightened altercations.
Box Office - Sell tickets and after show deep cleaning. Must be comfortable with computers and counting back cash. Also responsible for changing out the marquee outside which includes being on a very tall ladder and being able to carry that ladder.Floater - Someone willing to float multiple positions, and scheduled wherever they are needed most.
Marketing Assistant - This is a part time position helping out with our marketing team, primarily working from home, 15-25 hours per week. Duties include scheduling out social media posts, press release emails, targeted emails, newsletters, online calendar submissions, basic photo and video editing, and research for outreach. Some "street team" work passing out handbills after a show, stapling up posters around town, finding community boards for posting, etc. The hours can be flexible, but being prompt, efficient, and organized is a must.
House Manager - Manage the evenings of each show ensuring timely operations, backing up the bar, communicating between front of house and back of house, assisting talent and production as needed, handling payment and coordinating all extra staffing to ensure a smooth event. Must be able to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm and composed under pressure. Must be friendly and open to working in all other positions as needed.
