    Health & Safety

    1. Introduction to EWI Pro Training

The EWI Pro training course is designed to guide you through the all-important knowledge and technical know-how you will need to install the EWI Pro systems professionally.

Throughout the course, we may use a range of tools and techniques to acquaint you with our systems. These can range from mixing machines, spray machines, hot wire cutters, purpose-made knives and a range of trowels.

    2. Course Structure

The training course will begin with the theoretical side of learning, before moving onto the practical use of EWI Pro materials. We will then reconvene at the end for a recap and overview. There will also be chances throughout the course for breaks.

    3. Tea/Coffee Facilities

Tea and coffee is readily available on the premises, you will be directed towards them on your way through to our practical training facilities.

    4. Fire Procedure (escape routes and fire assembly point)

Your trainer will inform you of our emergency escape exits and fire assembly point.

    5. First Aid/First Aider

We have a first aid kit and first aider on-site during training sessions. For either of these, please go up the stairs next to the meeting room and turn left at the top of the stairs.

    6. Mobile phone policy

We ask that during practical training mobile phones are kept in bags/in a secure place (meeting room) so as not to cause distraction and resulting injury.

    7. Risks

Attendees put themselves at their own risk when passing through the main warehouse. We advise that if access to the carpark is required at any point during the training course, you walk around the outside of the building.

As is the nature of our materials, spilled product and dust from materials may present a hazard. The course may also require you to lift heavy bags/buckets. We cannot take any responsibility for accident or injury caused during the use of training materials; it is the responsibility of the attendee to take care when moving around the training facilities/lifting heavy objects.

    8. PPE

What PPE must be used (safety boots, hi-vis vest, gloves, safety glasses or goggles…). Personal protective equipment must be worn during the practical element of our training sessions. These will be provided on arrival.
