We are accepting LRAP applications on a rolling basis this year. Please do not apply for LRAP until you are in active repayment (i.e. not in administrative forbearance) and know what your monthly payments will be during the next LRAP cycle, which will run from November 1, 2025 to October 31, 2026. Please let us know if you anticipate your monthly payments will be $0 during the next cycle. Documentation of Use for 2023-24 LRAP Award
We typically require continuing LRAP participants to submit a Documentation of Use form with proof that you used last year's entire LRAP award on qualifying student loans. However, given that this is an unprecedented year and many graduates have been placed on administrative forbearance and/or unable to make payments, we will not require that form this year. Please note than any LRAP money you received last year that you did not use towards student loans may be considered taxable income by the IRS and you should consult a tax expert when filing your taxes. Next year, we will require all graduates to submit a Documentation of Use form showing you used your entire 2024-25 LRAP award on qualifying student loans.
