  • Why Join?

    Becoming a member of our Charity is a simple way for you to be more involved in helping your local community. Members will have the right to vote at the AGM on who the Trustees will be and any important decisions about the future of the charity. We encourage our Members to be active in helping shape our plans and wish to make sure that the Charity remains supported by and accountable to our local community.

    Who can be a member?

    • Individuals over the age of 18 who are interested in supporting and furthering the work of the Charity and who have paid the annual subscription.
    • Trustees of the Charity and subscribers of the Articles of Association.

  • How we will use your information

    We will use the information in this form to contact you in relation to your membership and to keep you informed of any meetings that Members are entitled to vote in, including the Annual General Meeting (AGM). From time to time we may also ask you for your feedback on the services and activities that the Trust is providing.

    If you would also like to have updates from us on the events and activities taking place on site we will need you to give us your permission to do so. You can do this below.

    Your details will be securely stored. You can change your permissions at any time by emailing us at info@aylesham.org.uk with the request. 

    We use Jotform for our online grant from. Submitted forms will be kept on Jotform for a maximum of 14 working days and then transferred to our secure internal servers. Further information and your rights can be found in our privacy policy.

  • Terms and Conditions Of Membership

    Submission of an application form does not guarantee membership. The Trust will need to check your eligibility and will contact you to confirm you have been successful and advise you on how to pay your membership subscription. If you have not been successful the Trust will explain why this is the case.

    Successful membership applications are valid for one year only.

    You can apply at any point in the year but the new membership year begins the day after the AGM and lasts until the end of the following AGM.

    Please note that membership applications which are received less than one full month before the AGM will only be valid for the following year (and you will not be entitled to vote at the forthcoming AGM) as per the Constitutional Rules of the Charity.
