Temple Sinai invites you on a captivating journey through Jewish identity and culture with our new FREE program, "Who Nu? An Exploration of the Jewish Experience."
Mark your calendars! The program runs from September 8th, 2024 through April 27th, 2025. Each session will be held on select Sundays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Temple Sinai sanctuary (3405 Gulling Road, Reno) followed by light refreshments in the lobby. We will also livestream the sessions for people who are not able to attend in person.
Embark on 10 sessions exploring diverse themes:
- "I Met You at Sinai": Led by Rabbi Benjamin Zober, uncover the hidden stories of our community through conversations with various long-time members of Temple Sinai.
- "Jews of the Old West" (4-part series): Led by Rabbi Benjamin Zober, examine television shows to discover the unique experiences of Jews who settled in the American West.
- "A Conversation with Children & Grandchildren of Holocaust Survivors": Led by Rabbi Benjamin Zober, in recognition of International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27th, hear 2nd and 3rd generation survivor accounts of resilience that serve as a powerful testament to the importance of never forgetting.
- "Jewish Love Songs": Led by Rabbi Sara Zober, explore the universality of love through Jewish music and traditions.
