  • Thank you for your interest in becoming a mentor with the Generation WOW Mentorship Program! We are looking for passionate, dependable women who are eager to inspire, guide, and support the next generation of high school girls as they grow in confidence, leadership, and life skills.

    As a mentor, you’ll be matched with one or more high school mentees based on shared interests. Together, you’ll form a meaningful relationship that offers encouragement, guidance, and perspective during a critical time in their development. Mentors will also have access to support, resources, and optional events throughout the year to deepen the experience and strengthen their connection with their mentee(s).

    Women who serve as mentors consistently report a strong sense of purpose, empowerment, and fulfillment. They often describe the act of “paying it forward” as a way to reflect on their own journeys, deepen their empathy, and develop leadership and listening skills. Mentors also frequently express how much they learn from their mentees, gaining insight into younger perspectives, emerging trends, and the evolving challenges that girls face today.

    By committing your time, energy, and insight, you will play a vital role in shaping a young woman’s journey—and likely grow yourself in the process. We’re excited to welcome you into this empowering and inspiring community.

    Before completing this application, please read the following requirements to ensure you would like to move forward:

    Mentor Requirements:

    1. Complete the Mentor Application
    2. Attend a Mandatory Training Session (Virtual)
    3. Submit and Pass a Background Check (please do not continue if you are not willing to complete this step.)


    Once Accepted:

    1. Complete an Introductory Phone Call with your mentee(s) within the first two weeks of being matched 
    2. Connect at Least Once Per Quarter
    3. Participate in the Annual Mentor Walk and the Generation WOW Event or at least two in-person events with your mentee during the 25-26 school year
    4. Complete Monthly Feedback Forms to help us support your match and track progress

  • I acknowledge that the WOW Team will match mentors and mentees to the best of their ability. The WOW Team cannot guarantee a match on any specific criteria. I understand that WOW girls have diverse skills, needs, and backgrounds and all are deserving of a caring adult mentor in their life.*
  • I understand this mentorship journey requires the following: complete an introductory phone call within two weeks of being matched, attend the Mentor Walk on January 10, 2026, attend the Generation WOW Event on November 7, 2025, or one other in-person event, one touch point of communication each quarter (text, email, call, in-person meeting, etc), and monthly check in forms.*
