    Mount Douglas Rams Football Program
  • The Mount Douglas Rams Football Program is committed to the long-term development of high school student football players as well-rounded student-athletes and productive, respected members of the school and community.

Our expectation is that our student-athletes will conduct themselves in a positive way while at school, in our community, as well as in our digital world. Given this, each student-athlete will be expected to follow the Mount Douglas Rams Football Program Player Code of Conduct, and each parent is expected to commit to enforcing these values:

Ø  Student-athletes understand that playing inter-school athletics is a privilege, not a right. In order to compete for Mount Douglas Secondary School in inter-school competition, student-athletes need to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times.

Ø  Student-athletes understand that football is a team sport and any absences, whether from practice or games, affects the overall team. They will make 100% effort to attend all football activities. Those unable to attend a practice or game will notify their Head Coach as soon as the absence is known.

Ø Student-athletes will ensure that they schedule enough time to do their homework and attend football practices and games. They will have a plan to catch up in the event they fall behind in their homework. Student-athletes are students first, athletes second.

Ø  Student-athletes will show 100% respect to their teammates, coaches, parents, teachers and school administration at all times. Absolutely no discrimination, threatening, harassment or bullying will be tolerated, including hazing or cyber bullying.

Ø  Student-athlete interaction on social media is expected to be positive, appropriate and not detrimental to the school, team, or any individuals within the school and community. Everything posted on social media will represent the team and can negatively affect the future of a student-athlete.

Ø  Student-athletes understand that failing to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner may lead to the student’s suspension or removal from the school team.

I have read and understand the Mount Douglas Rams Football Program Player Code of Conduct and I agree to abide by these values at all times. I agree to accept all action taken for failure to abide by these values.
