Please see the following important information about VRBL. You can find the playing rules under "RULES & CODE of CONDUCT".
- Although VRBL is a recreational baseball league, it is not an introductory baseball league. Basic baseball skills are expected
- It is a wood bat league with the exception that female players are allowed to use metal bats
- Games are 9 innings or no new inning after 2.5 hours
- A team is allowed to have more than 9 batters in a lineup
- Unlimited defensive substitutions except pitchers
- Pitchers can only pitch a maximum of 5 innings in a game
