Welcome to Loyola University Chicago's Theatre Department!

This form is for new students who are interested in participating in the Loyola Theatre Department's New Student Showcase in Fall 2025. We also want to get to know our new students, so this is a chance for you to introduce yourself to our department.

At the Showcase incoming students present a 2 minute monologue, song, poem, or portfolio of design/backstage work. Students will be assigned a faculty coach to aid in selection and rehearsal.

You do not have to be a declared theatre major or minor to participate. The showcase will be held Wednesday, September 17 at 5:30pm in the Newhart Family Theatre.
