The Send It programs are free of charge for all participants. This includes lodging, food, gear & equipment, guides, instruction, and transportation upon arrival. 

Please note that space is limited for each adventure, and we strive to accommodate everyone in our community. By signing up for a trip, you are making a commitment to attend. While we understand that emergencies can happen, please be considerate of others who are interested in joining these programs and the extensive planning that goes into creating these experiences. If unforeseen circumstances arise and you can no longer attend, please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer the opportunity to another person on our growing waitlist.

A $100 deposit is required to secure your spot in a program. The deposit must be paid to confirm your spot on a Send It program. It will be refunded within two weeks after the trip. If you cancel for nonmedical reasons within 30 days of the trip, your deposit cannot be refunded.

*Please note, international programs have a different set of financial requirements. This $100 refundable deposit does not apply to our international programs. 

In consideration of the risk of injury while participating in a Send It Program (the "Activity"), and as consideration for the right to participate in the Activity, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this waiver and release of liability and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of my participation in the Activity, and do hereby release and forever discharge Send It, located at 10075 W. River Street, Suite 204, Truckee, California 96161, their affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns, for any physical or psychological injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death, damages, economical or emotional loss, that I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned Activity, including traveling to and from an event related to this Activity.

I am voluntarily participating in the activity and I am participating in the Activity entirely at my own risk. I am aware of the risks associated with traveling to and from as well as participating in this Activity, which may include, but are not limited to, physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability (including paralysis), economic or emotional loss, and death. I understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise from my own or others' negligence, conditions related to travel, or the condition of the Activity location(s). Nonetheless, I assume all related risks, both known or unknown to me, of my participation in this Activity, including travel to, from and during this Activity.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Send It against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney's fees and any related costs, if litigation arises pursuant to any claims made by me or by anyone else acting on my behalf. If Send It incurs any of these types of expenses, I agree to reimburse Send It.

I acknowledge that Send It and their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives and agents are not responsible for errors, omissions, acts or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity on behalf of Send It.

I acknowledge that this Activity may involve a test of a person's physical and mental limits and may carry with it the potential for death, serious injury, and property loss. The risks may include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, lack of hydration, condition of participants, equipment, vehicular traffic and actions of others, including but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, coaches, event officials and event monitors, and/or producers of the event.

I acknowledge that I have carefully read this "waiver and release" and fully understand that it is a release of liability. I expressly agree to release and discharge Send It and all of its affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns, from any and all claims or causes of action and I agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that I otherwise have to bring a legal action against Send It for personal injury or property damage.

To the extent that statute or case law does not prohibit releases for negligence, this release is also for negligence on the part of Send It, its agents, and employees.
In the event that I should require medical care or treatment, I agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment. I am aware and understand that I should carry my own health insurance.

I, the undersigned participant, affirm that I am of the age of 18 years or older, and that I am freely signing this agreement. I certify that I have read this agreement, that I fully understand its content and that this release cannot be modified orally. I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract and that I am signing it of my own free will.

to Send It Foundation, herein referred to as “Photographer” concerning the photographs that will be taken, or have taken, on the Send It program attended.

Model grants Photographer unrestricted rights and permission forever to copyright, use and publish photographs and the name of Model, or in which Model may be included intact or in part, composited or adjusted in character or form, without restriction as to changes, for branding, promotion, advertising, trade, or any other purpose whatsoever, made through any and all media now or hereafter known. Model forever waives any rights of publicity, rights of privacy, intellectual property rights, and any other legal or moral rights that might preclude Photographer’s use of the photographs taken or require Model’s permission for Photographer to license or use the images in part or in whole. Model agrees to never sue or assert any claim against Photographer relating to Photographer’s use of the photographs.

The photographs will be used without Model’s review or approval of the images, or the advertising copy or printed matter that may be used in conjunction therewith, or the use to which it may be applied.

Model hereby releases, discharges and agree to save harmless Photographer, their legal representatives or assigns, and all persons functioning under Photographer’s permission or authority from any liability by virtue of any usage, alteration, or compositing, that may occur in the taking of said picture or in any subsequent processing or publishing thereof.

Model agrees that he / she is not entitled to receive any form of payment from Photographer or anyone else.

Model further acknowledges and agrees that he/she has no further right to additional consideration or accounting, and that Model will make no further claim for any reason to Photographer, the photographer, the filmmaker and / or any assignments.

I hereby affirm that I am over the age of majority and have the right to contract in my own name. I have read the above authorization, release and agreement, prior to its execution; I fully understand the contents thereof. This agreement shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives and assigns. (Minors must have the signature of parent or guardian below.) I agree that this release is irrevocable, worldwide and perpetual.
