NuDay Arms Training, LLC. Classroom and Range Rules
1. Every gun is loaded: Treat every gun as if it is loaded and dangerous.
2. No live ammo is to be brought into the classroom.
3. All handguns are to be made safe before coming to class: No ammo in the gun, magazines, nor speed loaders.
4. Be safe in classroom: Keep the safety in the on position and the gun in its case, holster, bag, or box with no live ammo.
5. Be safe on the range: Keep the safety in the on position and the action door open until you are ready to fire.
6. Mind the trigger: Keep you finger off the trigger and outside the trigger guard until you are ready to fire.
7. Only point at it if you want it destroyed: Always keep the gun pointed downrange and never point a gun at anything you are not planning to shoot.
8. If it’s loaded, leave it on the line: Check to make sure your firearm is unloaded, the action door is open and the safety is on before bringing it off the shooting line.
9. Protect yourself: Wear protective eyewear and ear protection at all times on the shooting lanes, even when not shooting.
10. Check your weapon: Always make sure your weapon is functioning correctly, properly cleaned, and safe to use.
11. Know your target and beyond: Always know what you are shooting at and be mindful of what is around and behind your target.
12. Alcohol and gun powder don’t mix: No alcohol consumption 8 hours prior to nor during allocated times for training.
13. Drugs and guns don’t mix: No illegal drugs are to be in your blood system 8 hours prior nor during the times allocated for training.
14. Failure to abide by the above rules may result in removal from the class or range facility and denial of further training.

NC DOJ Concealed Carry Handgun Training requirements:
1. The course must be a minimum of eight hours long plus range qualification time.
2. The student agrees to make every effort to meet with the instructor at the range for qualification within seven (7) days before the class. The instructor will contact you to arrange the meeting.
3. The legal block of instruction must be a minimum of two hours in length
  A written legal examination is required: 20 Questions (A score of 75 or better is required)
4. A shooting proficiency examination is required. Course of fire must be 30 rounds, with ten rounds fired from the three-yard line, ten rounds fired from the five-yard line, and ten rounds fired from the seven-yard line. (Student must score twenty-one rounds of thirty on the target as provided by the instructor) Students may make two attempts, only.

NC CONCEALED CARRY CLASS

The 8-Hour Conceal/Carry class satisfies the State of North Carolina's requisite 8-hour class. Students are required to pass the written test AND participate in range training AND classroom training in order to receive a certificate of completion All classes from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. are mandated by the NC DOJ (subject to change) Class time does not include range qualification Range qualification time is offered at an additional cost

We offer a Smith & Wesson .22 caliber handgun for students who prefer a lighter firearm to improve accuracy and reduce recoil during their qualification process. Basic Pistol Safety Class

This class is intended for those with limited to no firearms experience or those who want to invest in building fundamentals. We will spend time covering firearms safety, range etiquette and safety, handgun fundamentals, and operation. THIS IS A 3-HOUR SESSION. Includes range time (RANGE FEES NOT INCLUDED. YOU WILL PAY THOSE AT THE RANGE)
