Freeze or Cancel Your YMCA of Greenwich Membership
The YMCA of Greenwich does not impose annual contracts on our members. Memberships in good standing automatically renew on the same date of the month every month, establishing the membership billing cycle and unique draft date.
Members are free to cancel their membership or place a membership hold at any time. Cancellation notice must be provided in writing via webform 15 days prior to your draft date. Memberships do not automatically cancel due to inactivity. To freeze your membership, notice must be provided via webform 10 days prior to your draft date-- while on freeze, you will be billed $15 per month on freeze, replacing your active membership rate. Upon return, your active membership rate will resume.
What to Expect for Fees Related to Current or Future Enrolled Programs
Members must have an active membership for the full duration of any programs or activities to receive member pricing and priority registration. Fees will be converted to non-member pricing and billed accordingly if no membership is active for the participant(s) including when a membership is cancelled or placed on hold.
Use the form below to complete one of the following:
- Freeze membership.
- Extend current membership freeze.
- Stop the freeze, return to active membership.
- Cancel your Membership to end your autorenewal.
