  • Summer 2024 Live Author Conversation

Featuring Emily Goodson and Michael Appleton
  • Join Emily Goodson and Michael Appleton for our “Coffee with Authors” dialogue series. In this conversation, Emily's personal journey with physical disability along with Michael's clinical expertise will combine to offer a unique perspective on how shame impacts our lives. Emily and Michael will discuss a brain injury Emily experienced as a child, how it affected her – and how it went on to affect her romantic life (specifically, the lack thereof, much to her teenage dismay).

Join us for a 45-minute conversation and bring your questions about intimacy, shame, and what prompted these authors to launch their books.
