Thank you to all previous, future and interested sponsors of the CLRA National & Alberta AGM & Conference. We are delighted that we are again hosting the AGM & Conference at the Edmonton Convention Center (ECC).The CLRA Sponsorship Committee is excited to share our sponsorship opportunities that we hope will bring some fun and excitement to our sponsors and delegates!! The ECC is a beautiful space that will provide great opportunities for learning, networking, and sharing ideas/thoughts on how we can improve and grow our industry!!

Please read the following rules and guidelines carefully as failure to comply may result in losing your requested sponsorship of choice. A limited number of sponsorships are available; we thank all who have applied in advance.

GENERAL

Event sponsorships (including the new sponsorship opportunities) will be on a first come first serve basis and determined by the time stamp on the sponsorship form submission.
Please pick the top three choices (if desired) you wish to sponsor; in the event your primary choice is taken.
All sponsors will have their company name and/or logo displayed on the main conference hall screens, on a banner near the registration booth, and on the CLRA website.
Returning booth sponsors will have the right of first refusal for the same booth location as last year (or a similar location within the updated floor plan) until December 1, 2024.
All new booth sponsors, and returning booth sponsors after December 1, will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis and determined by the time stamp on the sponsorship form submission.

PAYMENT, DEADLINES, AND LOGO REQUIREMENTS

Submit your application with your credit card information to the CLRA Alberta Office.
Your submission MUST be received via this form, other methods of submission will not be accepted.
Payment for sponsorship must be received by January 3, 2025, to confirm your sponsorship, no exceptions. Payments are non-refundable after January 6, 2025.
All sponsors are to submit company logos in both JPEG and EPS format via upload or email no later than January 6, 2025, no exceptions. WITHOUT YOUR LOGOS YOU WILL NOT BE ADVERTISED! Logos must be sent to CLRA Alberta (alberta@clra.ca) or submitted with the submission of the sponsorship form.

BOOTH SPONSOR INFORMATION

There are 71 booth spots available in the main hall (see the draft floor plan link above).

Until December 1, 2024, returning booth sponsors will have the right of first refusal for the same booth location as last year (or a similar location within the updated floor plan). After December 1, all booth sponsorships will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis and determined by the time stamp on the sponsorship form submission.

Set-up for booth sponsors can occur from 3 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Take down of booth can occur after 3 PM only or otherwise indicated, on Friday, March 7, 2025. Early teardown of booths will result in loss of sponsorship the following year. This is to ensure the safety and enjoyment for the entirety of the event.
Each booth space includes:
- 8' High back drape, 3' high side drape (Gold booth only)
- 6' skirted table
- 2 padded chairs
- 1-1500 watt 120 volt 15 amp duplex outlet

Super Booth Level Sponsors (6 Available) (Only 1 Remaining) Includes: $5500

One booth in the main hall.
Two delegate passes.
Hotel reservation codes will be going out to all the conference delegates on December 1, 2024. If you submit your sponsorship form prior to that, you will be given advanced-access, discounted hotel reservation codes prior to rooms being released to the public (but you are responsible for reserving and paying for your rooms).
Able to purchase three additional discounted passes ($350/pass).
Able to purchase Wetland Lounge drink tickets with your company logo - $15/ticket. Tickets sold in bundles of 50.
The Super Booth space is approximately 20’ by 20’ (may vary slightly). Please do not bring a booth or material exceeding these dimensions. Super Booth space can be transformed into personalized social spaces with couches, chairs, company equipment, bar and/or food service. If you need additional booth items (e.g. furnishing, specialty furniture, carpet, plants) you will be able to work and order directly from GES Conference Services. Any additional items ordered are the responsibility of the sponsor. Prior approval from CLRA Alberta is required.

Gold Booth Level Sponsors Includes: $3800

One booth in the main hall.
Two delegate passes.

If you submit your sponsorship form prior to that, you will be given advanced-access, discounted hotel reservation codes prior to rooms being released to the public (but you are responsible for reserving and paying for your rooms).
The Gold Booth space is approximately 10’ by 10’ (may vary slightly). Please do not bring a booth or material exceeding these dimensions. Side banners within booth space are not permitted, and this includes any items that may block the view to adjacent booths.

WETLAND LOUNGE SPONSORSHIP (4 Available) (3 Remaining) $4500

The Wetland Lounge sponsorship includes:

Able to purchase two discounted passes ($350/pass).

EVENT SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION

Pop Up Banner Stands (Breakout Level) (25 Available) $175 – The sponsor will be able to have a banner stand (sponsor to provide) on the Breakout Level for the Conference. Set-up for pop up banners stands can occur from 3 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.Teardown will be allowed after the last Breakout Room session on Friday, March 7, 2025.
Breakout Room (4 Available) (3 Remaining) $700 – The sponsor will have the opportunity to have a banner stand and small table inside the room. Additionally, the sponsor’s logo will be always displayed on the screen between presentations. No networking will be allowed during presentations. Set-up can occur from 3 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, and teardown will be allowed after the last Breakout Room session on Friday, March 8, 2024.
Lanyard (2 Year Opportunity – 2024 to 2025) (SOLD OUT) $2750 – The sponsor will be responsible for supplying 1000 double-ended lanyards to the AB CLRA Board one week prior to the conference. The design is up to the sponsor; however, the lanyards must be no-spin style with clips on each end. Plastic name tag holders are not required. NOTE: This sponsorship has a two-year option available (with the sponsorship fee being paid annually).
Hotel Room Key (2 Year Opportunity – 2025 to 2026) (SOLD OUT) $2000 – The sponsor is responsible for arranging the appropriate number of keys to be purchased and printed with their company logo and be delivered to the hotel(s) no later than February 15, 2025. NOTE: This sponsorship has a two-year option available (with the sponsorship fee being paid annually).
Conference Closed Captioning (1 Available) $1500 - Closed captioning for the main conference hall ensures that everyone has an equal opportunity for learning and being fully apart of the CLRA Conference experience. The main hall screens will have a live closed caption ‘ticker tape’ at the bottom. The sponsor will receive verbal and visual recognition throughout the event.
Conference Wi-Fi (1 Available) (SOLD OUT) $1500 - The sponsor name and logo will be displayed at the registration desk, as the Wifi login name, and be used as the associated password. Example: Network: CLRA-COMPANY NAME Password: COMPANY NAME
Thursday Indigenous Welcome (1 Available) (SOLD OUT) $1500 – The sponsor will receive verbal recognition and have their logo displayed digitally. This year’s Indigenous Welcome will include:

Keynote Speaker (1 Available) (SOLD OUT) $2000 – The sponsor will receive verbal recognition and have their logo displayed digitally. This year’s Keynote Speaker is:
- Anthony Morgan the new co-host of The Nature of Things on CBC Television. He's also an award-winning science communicator, PhD researcher, startup founder and game designer who has hosted dozens of TV programs. He's obsessed with changing how people see, think and talk about science in their everyday lives. He's spent close to 20 years finding ways to do just that. He's worked at the Ontario Science Centre, with Asap SCIENCE, written for newspapers, hosted CBC Radio, collaborated with municipal governments and serves on the steering committee of the misinformation-tackling Science Up First. This work and more has earned him multiple distinctions and award nominations including a Falling Walls nomination for breakthrough science engagement initiative and being named one of CBC's top 20 millennial change-makers.
Drivers for Change: Past & Future Panel (1 Available) (SOLD OUT) $1000 – The sponsor will receive verbal recognition and have their logo displayed digitally. This moderated panel discussion will have reclamation practitioners across Canada and the USA to give their insights on what are the biggest changes that have impacted the reclamation industry in their area’s and what are likely changes to come.
Indigenous Land Managers Engagement Panel (1 Available) $1000 – The sponsor will receive verbal recognition and have their logo displayed digitally. This moderated panel discussion will have Land Managers from SK, AB and BC providing their point of view on reclamation planning and how engagement/collaboration is working, the successes in their communities and what can be learned from each other.
Speaker Gift (1 Available) $1000 – The sponsor will receive verbal recognition during the gift presentation to the speakers from the breakout presentation rooms and the main hall. The speaker gift will be a custom created calendar explaining the history of reclamation within Canada.
The Stamp Game (1 Available) $500 – The sponsor will have their logo prominently displayed on the game form and verbal recognition during the award winner draw.
Wednesday Workshop Sponsor (1 Available) (SOLD OUT) $2500 – The CLRA Indigenous Awareness Committee is developing a workshop that will provide a mix of presentations, discussions, and interactive sessions to facilitate knowledge sharing and networking among participants. By bridging traditional ecological knowledge with modern scientific methods, participants will gain valuable insights into creating more holistic and effective land reclamation strategies. Carol Crowe will be leading this workshop and is a distinguished Indigenous engagement consultant and environmental professional focused on fostering relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities across Canada. The Sponsor will be recognized verbally, their company logo will be displayed on the screen before the workshop begins, and they will have the opportunity to place a banner stand in the room during the Workshop. Networking will not be allowed during the workshop and teardown will be required at the end of the workshop. Workshop Highlights:
- Delve into the synergistic potential of combining Indigenous knowledge with Western scientific methods.
- Exploration of Traditional Knowledge in reclamation planning and its role in shaping effective reclamation strategies.
- Case studies and field examples demonstrating successful reclamation projects that blend Indigenous wisdom with scientific approaches.

Wednesday Tour Sponsor (1 Available) (SOLD OUT) $750 – The CLRA Showcase Committee is organizing an exclusive half-day event on March 5, 2025, hosted at the University of Alberta. This event will highlight the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences (ALES), featuring insightful presentations from graduate students, including guided tours of their research in the faculty’s greenhouses and laboratories. The sponsor will receive verbal recognition, their logo displayed on tour handouts, and 1 complimentary tour pass. Tour Highlights:
- Graduate student presentations showcasing innovative research
- Guides tour of the laboratories and greenhouses within the ALES faculty
- Opportunities to engage with faculty members and students
- Bus to and from ECC, snacks and refreshments provided
Wednesday Welcome Drink Tickets (1 Available) (SOLD OUT) $1500 – Each conference delegate will receive one drink ticket with the sponsor’s logo printed prominently on them, valid for use only at the Wednesday Welcome Reception.
Breakfast Smoothie Station (1 Available) (SOLD OUT) $800 – The sponsor will have their logo featured in the smoothie serving area.
Coffee, Snack, & Water Station (1 Available) (SOLD OUT) $1800 – The sponsor will have their logo featured within the coffee, water, pop, juice and snack serving stations (Thursday morning & afternoon and Friday morning) – a minimum of four stations located with the tradeshow and main hall area.
Thursday Main Hall (1 Available) (SOLD OUT) $750 – The sponsors logo will be displayed digitally on the main overhead screen between events and presentations.
Thursday Breakfast (1 Available) (SOLD OUT) $1100 – The sponsor will be verbally recognized and have their logo displayed digitally on the main overhead screen.

Thursday Lounge/Banquet Drink Tickets (1 Available) (SOLD OUT) $1500 – Each conference delegate will receive one drink ticket with the sponsor’s logo printed prominently on them, valid for use only on Thursday at the Lounge or during the Banquet.
Friday Main Hall (1 Available) (SOLD OUT) $750 – The sponsors logo will be displayed digitally on the main overhead screen between events and presentations.
Friday Breakfast (1 Available) $1100 – The sponsor will be verbally recognized and have their logo displayed digitally on the main overhead screen.
Friday Lunch (1 Available) $1500 – The sponsor will be verbally recognized and have their logo displayed digitally on the main overhead screen.
Student Poster Session Sponsor (2 Available) (1 Remaining) $1000 – The Program and Student Relations Committee are hosting a student poster session at this Conference. The student poster session will have two winners based on the student’s passion for reclamation, presentation, and project. The sponsor will have their logo displayed on the CLRA AB website, displayed digitally on the screens in the Main Hall, be on the stage during the student awards portion of the Thursday night banquet, hand their student winner the monetary award and have their photo taken with their celebrated student.

DOOR PRIZE DONATION

We are asking Sponsors to consider donating a door prize that will be drawn in the Main Hall at the end of each day of the Conference (Thursday & Friday)
It is suggested the door prize be valued between $75 to $500.
