As an Access Ambassador, you only need to consider your access challenges, such as vision, hearing, mobility, learning, and autism.
Your chosen visit must take place in Wales and be approved by Piws as a suitable destination. All approved visits must happen by 31 May 2026.
You will be offered minimum wage for up to three hours. Payment will be made directly to your bank account via BACS after we receive your feedback on your visit.
Piws will buy entry tickets to your chosen destination. Unfortunately, Piws cannot cover the cost of food, refreshements and transport to and from the destination.
NB: This is a trial, this is not an offer of employment. Everyone is encourage to feedback on all their experiences, we should all share our lived experieces by becoming Access Ambassadors.
Training will be provided - once registered the next available online date will be forwarded to you.
PLEASE NOTE: This aim is to raise awareness about your challenges and support service providers (businesses) make the necessary reasonable adjustments. This will ensure they consider the needs of others, allowing more disabled people and families with a disabled or seriously ill child to go out with confidence to enjoy a day out more easily.
