    The Healthcare Ethics Consortium (HEC) and the Emory University Center for Ethics are pleased to announce the 2025 - 2026 Healthcare Ethics Leadership Academy (HELA) beginning August 2025.
  • Thank you for your interest in joining the 2025 HELA Cohort. Please complete the application below by Monday, June 16. We will send admission decisions to the email address on this form by Tuesday, July 1.

    2025 HELA Tuition is $7,500 for non-HEC Partners and $6,000 for HEC Partners. If you are accepted into the program, a $1,000 deposit is required by Friday, July 25. The remainer is due via check or journal entry by the start of the fall Bioethics course mid-August.

  • Participants will receive approximately 40 hours of classroom teaching throughout the program. In-person participation is planned; virtual is available.

  • We require two (2) documents to complete your application for the Healthcare Ethics Leadership Academy.

         2. Letter of Support

    In 500 words or less, please explain your interest in bioethics and goals for participation in the program.
