It is open to anyone who would like to get involved in our next production The Addams Family, either in performing, backstage, props or costume! Our welcome night is a great opportunity to meet people and find out more about what is involved in being a member of our company.
Performing
If you wish to get involved as a performer, then there will be a mix of singing, dancing and acting at the welcome night, so wear something comfortable that you can move around in, and bring some water with you.
Backstage
This is an opportunity to meet George, our stage manager, to get an idea of what is required to put on a full-scale musical and see how you can get involved! You'll be able to meet current and past backstage team members who will be able to give you guidance and experience on what to expect if you join up.
Props & Costume
This will be the ideal chance to meet with the company and the production team to see how you can get involved! Tell us about your experience and find out what props and costume will be required for the show.
Company Tasks
We are always looking for people to help support the general running of the company, costume store, fundraising, social activities, marketing and sponsorship - if this sounds like your cup of tea, come along and chat to our committee members to see how you can help out!
Please note you must be 16 years of age or older to attend the welcome night.
The OneTouch Theatre is located on the ground floor of Eden Court. When you enter the building from the main door, please head round to the bar area where there is a ramp to get up to the theatre. There will be members of the committee dotted about to help should you need it. We anticipate to be finished at 9.30pm should you require to make transport arrangements. Please note that there are parking charges in the Eden Court car park.
