The Jewish Federation of San Diego is pleased to accept applications for immersive experience grants for the upcoming year!
PLEASE NOTE:
Subsidies are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted.
Applications should be submitted at least one month prior to departure.
Eligibility:
- San Diego Jewish 9th-12th grader (Fall 2024)
- Enrolled and registered for an approved 2+ day immersive (out of San Diego) experience. Please note that proof of enrollment required.
- First-time recipient during the academic year, including summer 2025
Teens are eligible for the following:
- $72: 2-4 day Jewish immersive experience
- $180: 5-7 day Jewish immersive experience
- $360: 8-12 day Jewish immersive experience
- $540: 12+ day Jewish immersive experience
Ineligibility:
- Residential / Sleep-Away Camp
- Israel travel through a San Diego organization trip. Please note these organizations have already received subsidies for those trips.
Please be aware of the following guidelines and tips when filling out your application:
1. Participants must be enrolled in an approved program before beginning this application. Proof of enrollment must be provided when you submit the application.
2. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be accepted.
3. You will not be able to save your application along the way, so before you begin, make sure you have the following information: Trip Name & Trip Provider (ex. Social Action Conclave, NFTY), Total Trip Cost, Trip Contact, and the dates of the program.
5. Please answer honestly and completely. Any questions about your Jewish background or affiliation will have no impact on your award whatsoever.
Your application will be processed within 10 days business days and you will be notified via email of your award status. Teens that receive an immersive experience grant will be required to complete a post-experience form that will take between 5-10 minutes to complete.
