Assigned Solicitor |
|
|
I am the Solicitor who has been assigned to your file. I have overall responsibility for your file, but other Community Law Waikato staff may also work on your file.
Sometimes, we have to change the Solicitor for your file. You will be told if your Solicitor changes.
|
3. |

Cost |
|
|
Our service is effectively free. You do not have to pay us, but we may seek payment from third parties and will send you an invoice for any costs which are awarded against a third party or agreed to be paid by a third party (for example, ACC in a review hearing). However, the invoice will not be more than the award of costs/agreed costs and the costs will be paid directly to us by the third party.
You pay for the cost of disbursements (for example courier fees or application fees).

a) |
Please be aware there is a 90-day deadline to raise a personal grievance with your employer if this is appropriate option for your issue. |

b) |
The 90-day deadline starts from the date the issue stated or came to your attention. |
|
c) |
We will need you to respond as soon as possible to requests for more information, where a personal grievance is being raised, to make sure we meet this deadline. |

d) |
Community Law Waikato is only able to provide assistance up to and including mediation. If your matter is not to be settled at that stage, we will provide you with the options and referrals so you can go further from there
