• India IGF (IIGF-2024) Session Proposal Submission Form

  • India IGF 2024 (IIGF 2024) invites all stakeholders to submit proposals for workshops for the Fourth India Internet Governance Forum scheduled to be held from - to - 2024. 

    IIGF 2024 will be organised in a hybrid format. The opening and concluding sessions will be onsite, while the rest of the sessions will be held online. Workshop proposals should be designed to take into consideration the online nature of the meeting.

    Kindly read the call for proposal guidelines and refer to the detailed description of the overarching Theme and sub themes of this year. https://indiaigf.in.

    It is important that the proposed workshop proposals are aligned to one of the five sub-themes and the description of the workshop proposal shows a specific and focused approach to the chosen sub theme.

    Workshop Submission Deadline: 9th September 2024 23:59 IST.

    The overall theme for IIGF2024 is India Internet Governance Forum: Innovating Internet Governance for India.

    Workshop proposers are invited to make submissions under the following five sub themes:‎

    1. Empowering Connections: Access, Inclusion and Rights
    2. Legal and Regulatory Frameworks
    3. Responsible AI
    4. Trust and Safety
    5. Building Green and Sustainable Internet

  • Description of Session Formats Birds of a Feather (BoF)  – An informal discussion session designed to connect the participants of shared topic of interests without a pre-planned agenda. Panel  - Presentation and/or sharing of viewpoints by speakers on a particular topic. The number of speakers on the panel shall not be more than 4 to allow sufficient time for interaction with the attendees. Roundtable  - Interactive dialogue involving all participants with designated moderators and not more than 2 speakers.
