Code of Conduct
At Mary, Queen of All Saints Youth Group, we strive to create an environment where the youth can deepen their relationship with Christ while growing in community with each other. As a youth group, we aim to set a positive example for anyone that we encounter.
Youth Participants will be expected to abide by the following standards:
- Keep a positive attitude when attending any youth events.
- Be respectful of both youth participants as well as adult volunteers.
- Respect the facilities of Plagge Hall, church, and other venues where youth events may occur.
- No obscene language, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or weapons.
- Public displays of affection while at youth functions are inappropriate.
- During a youth event, cell phones should stay in the student’s pocket or bag unless needed for the event.
-Clothing should be appropriate and modest, avoiding offensive messages and images.
In order to ensure that our youth feel safe and accepted at our events, we have set a few simple consequences for violating these youth group rules. The final authority in determining disruptive and unsafe behavior will be the Youth Director and the Pastor.
Consequences will be as follows:
1. Student will receive a verbal warning from the youth director or adult volunteer.
2. If disruptive behavior continues, the parent of the student will be contacted and further action will be determined.
3. If needed, student will be sent home. The youth director will contact the student’s parents and it will be arranged that the student will be picked up from wherever the event is located.
4. The youth director and parents will determine when the student may begin attending youth events again.
