Eastman Children's Chorus and Eastman Youth Chamber Singers Audition Sign-Up

This sign-up sheet is for students auditioning for Eastman Children's Chorus OR Eastman Youth Chamber Singers.

Students interested in Eastman Children's Chorus must be starting 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in September 2026 and those interested in Eastman Youth Chamber Singers must be starting 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in September 2026.

Please come prepared to sing a song of your choosing. This may be a classic folk song, hymn, or Broadway tune (no pop or rock songs). If in doubt, "America the Beautiful" works just fine!

*For Eastman Children's Chorus: Students/families must be prepared to fit a weekly theory musicianship class into their schedules alongside Eastman Children's Chorus rehearsals. For more information, please visit esm.rochester.edu/community/course/eastman-childrens-chorus/.

*For Eastman Youth Chamber Singers: It is recommended that students in this ensemble also enroll in Music Theory and Aural Skills 1 (if they have not already taken it). For more information, please visit esm.rochester.edu/community/course/music-theory-and-aural-skills-1/.
