Welcome. We are so glad you’re here. Our programs are meant to be safe, supportive, and empowering spaces for all participants. To foster a respectful and healing environment, we ask that everyone agree to and uphold the following community guidelines:

    1. This Is a Safe Space
What is shared here, stays here. This group is a sanctuary—a place where everyone is free to show up authentically, without fear of judgment, criticism, or unwanted advice. We honor each other’s stories, struggles, joys, and journeys with compassion and care.

    2. This Is a Peer Support Program
This group is designed to offer a path out of isolation by creating connection, encouragement, and community through shared experience. While we hope it brings healing and comfort, participation in this program is voluntary and does not constitute professional mental health treatment. Because our group is not led by a certified mental health professional, we cannot guarantee therapeutic or clinical outcomes and encourage you to seek professional care whenever needed.

While our rockSTARS often find strength and understanding in supporting one another, there is never any expectation or requirement to do so. Each rockSTAR is navigating their own unique journey and personal challenges. At times, offering support to others may not be possible—and that’s completely okay. It is critical that we respect each other's time and privacy. Simply showing up, in whatever capacity you can, is enough.

    3. Respect One Another’s Privacy
Many of us may choose to share personal experiences, health information, or emotions that are deeply vulnerable. Please treat these stories as sacred. Do not repeat or discuss what others share outside of this space—whether in personal conversation, online, or on social media—without their clear, expressed permission.

    4. Confidentiality Is Essential
We ask that all participants protect the confidentiality of fellow group members. This includes:
    - Not naming or identifying others in public or online spaces.
    - Not sharing specific details from the group that could reveal someone’s identity or private information.
    - Not recording, photographing, or live-streaming any part of the meeting.

    5. Consent Matters
Do not share anyone’s contact information—including social media handles, phone numbers, emails, or other personal details—without their explicit permission. Likewise, do not assume that others are comfortable with direct outreach outside the group. Always ask first.

    6. Speak from Your Own Experience
We invite you to share using “I” statements, staying grounded in your own story and truth. We don’t give unsolicited advice here. If you’re moved to offer support or perspective, ask if it’s welcome first.

    7. Be Present and Listen Deeply
The gift of your full presence is powerful. Please give others the space to speak without interruption. Set aside distractions and help us create an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

    8. Judgment Has No Place Here
We come from different backgrounds, with different beliefs, identities, and experiences. We celebrate that diversity. Disrespectful, discriminatory, or harmful language or behavior will not be tolerated.

By participating in Melodic Caring Project’s programs, you are acknowledging these community guidelines and the nature of this peer support space. Thank you for helping us co-create a space where healing, connection, and music can thrive.
