Hospitality positions are active only on OPAC show days, which can be very sporadic. These roles are not considered regular or permanent employment and are suitable only for individuals seeking extra income, not regular or sustaining income. OPAC averages five shows per month, but this schedule can be affected by holidays and building maintenance. A typical show schedule involves a maximum of four to five hours of evening work per show, with four hours being the most common. While the position listed above may have higher hourly rates than some permanent roles, please note that they do not include benefits.
All positions must complete OPAC’s Safe Serv training. In addition, Bartenders must complete Responsible Vendor Training, and Managers must complete OPAC’s Operational & Customer Management Training.
Requirements:
Persons interested in these positions should have excellent customer service skills. Poor attitudes will not be tolerated.
Night & Weekend availability.
The ability to pass a drug screen and a background check.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Have reliable transportation.
Ability to work well under pressure.
