The Songwriter & Composer Guild (SCG) is organizing to demand a livable wage, contract transparency, fair pay for digital streaming, and benefits that reflect our value to the industry. We refuse to be treated as disposable labor when our work powers this entire business.

Update: SCG has officially filed a union election petition with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) under Case No. 31-RC-360979, seeking to unionize songwriters and producers who create songs for Universal Music Group and its labels.​​

This is a historic first step toward fair pay, rights, and protections—but we need your support to make it happen.
