Willow Ridge Academy's Policies

Due to the ambiguous legal position of private home education programs, we acknowledge that Willow Ridge Academy and its staff cannot offer legal immunity and are only providing school services; hence, we understand that Willow Ridge Academy requires our family to maintain membership with the Home School Legal Defense Association.

Parents agree to the following policies:
1. We understand that it is our responsibility as parents to educate our child(ren) as we see fit. We will diligently and consistently teach our students a reasonable course of study under California’s homeschool laws.
2. We realize that although Willow Ridge Academy is maintaining our children's records, it is not responsible for their actual education or the outcome of said education. Willow Ridge Academy cannot guarantee college acceptance for any reason.
3. We will provide and pay for our own curriculum.
4. We understand that we are ineligible to re-enroll if we are delinquent in tuition, or if we have not submitted our Semester Attendance & Grades as required.
5. We understand that Willow Ridge Academy has a strict no refund policy.
6. We understand and accept responsibility for the appropriate tuition fees.
7. Homeschoolers are not required to vaccinate to attend Willow Ridge Academy or join a PSP in the state of California, however, PSPs are required to obtain an immunization record. Under California law and under the advisement of FPM and HSLDA, parents should write “Home Based Private School Per SB 277” across their Immunization record.
8. I agree to submit grades and attendance twice a year: end of Semester 1 (February) and end of Semester 2 (May).
