AAEF was established to support the activities and mission of the Association of American Educators (AAE)—the largest national, nonunion, professional educator organization, advancing the profession by offering a modern approach to educator empowerment and advocacy—promoting professionalism, collaboration, and excellence without a partisan agenda. AAE is committed to a teaching profession that is student oriented, well respected, and personally fulfilling. AAE serves members in all fifty states and welcomes professionals from all education entities. Membership includes $2 million professional liability insurance, employment rights coverage, professional resources, and many other benefits. Learn more at joinaae.org.

Available Awards: Scholarships are available for up to $500. Due to an increase in application submissions, scholarships are highly competitive and we can only provide funds to a fraction of those who apply.

Teacher Scholarships Funding Options: Teacher scholarships can be used for a wide variety of professional development opportunities and workshops. These include conferences, inservices, workshops, certifications and materials for PLCs. The scholarship will cover all associated costs up to $500 with attending these events or obtaining these materials. Teacher scholarships do not cover classes or materials in pursuit of a graduate degree (Masters and/or Doctorate).

Eligibility: Teacher scholarships are available to all full-time educators who have not received a scholarship or grant from AAE in the past two years. Awards are competitive. AAE members receive additional weight in the scoring rubric. Join today at joinaae.org.

The following states have their own competitions: Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Oregon, and Washington. Applicants from those states will be automatically entered into their state-specific contest after completing this form.
