FAITH FORMATION VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Ways you can help serve

CATECHIST - Teacher, full year commitment September-May and one training day in August. This is where we need you the most! Programs include FFL, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd /Buen Pastor, First Communion Prep, Confirmation Prep, RCIA/OCIA for children and adults. All materials are provided. Wednesday 6pm or Sunday 8:30am or 12:30pm

SMALL GROUP FACILITATOR/ MENTOR - A facilitator acts as a guide for small faith group by creating conditions for the group to grow in faith and is mindful that Christ is present. Programs include Confirmation Program Wednesday 6pm or Sunday 3:15pm

HALL MONITOR - Assist with administrative duties and monitors the hallway during class time to take care of student and teacher needs. Wednesday 6pm or Sunday 8:30am or 12:30pm

PROGRAM ASSISTANT/SUBSTITUTE - K through 9th grade support to staff and Catechist as needed. We will not be able to operate ANY programs without assistants.

Highschool MINISTRY CORE LEADER - Volunteers to lead, build out and support the network of programs that make up STA Lifeteen Ministry. This is an exciting time to join this fun group! Wednesday or Thursday evening or Sundays

Middle school MINISTRY CORE LEADER - Volunteers to lead, build out and support the network of programs that make up STA EDGE Ministry. This is an exciting time to join this fun group! Wednesday evening 6pm or Sunday morning 8:30am,

OFFICE HELP – Help in the Faith Formation Office with Administrative duties, preparing classroom supplies and materials, helping with mailings, answering phones etc.… Weekdays and Sundays

VBS - Vacation Bible School Team— Helps plan, decorate and coordinate Summer Vacation Bible School Week Planning meetings begin in December and are once to twice a month leading up to the week in June.

CATEQUISTA – Maestro/a con compromiso durante todo el año, de septiembre a mayo, y un día de capacitación en agosto. ¡Aquí es donde más te necesitamos! Los programas incluyen FFL, Catequesis del Buen Pastor, Preparación para la Primera Comunión, Preparación para la Confirmación, RICA/OCIA para niños y adultos. Todo el material es provisto. Miércoles 6:00 pm o domingo 8:30 am o 12:30 pm.

FACILITADOR DE PEQUEÑOS GRUPOS / MENTOR - Un facilitador actúa como guía de un pequeño grupo de fe, creando las condiciones para que el grupo crezca en la fe, y siendo consciente de que Cristo está presente. Los programas incluyen el Programa de Confirmación. Miércoles 6:00 pm o domingo 3:15 pm.

MONITOR DE PASILLO - Ayuda con tareas administrativas y supervisa los pasillos durante el tiempo de clases para atender las necesidades de los estudiantes y catequistas. Miércoles 6:00 pm o domingo 8:30 am o 12:30 pm.

ASISTENTE DE PROGRAMA / SUPLENTE - Apoyo para estudiantes de Kinder a 9º grado, asistiendo al personal y a los catequistas según se necesite. No podremos operar NINGÚN programa sin asistentes.

LÍDER PRINCIPAL DEL MINISTERIO DE PREPARATORIA (LIFETEEN) - Voluntarios para liderar, desarrollar y apoyar la red de programas que componen el Ministerio LifeTeen de STA. ¡Es un momento emocionante para unirse a este divertido grupo! Miércoles o jueves por la noche o domingos.

LÍDER PRINCIPAL DEL MINISTERIO DE SECUNDARIA (EDGE) - Voluntarios para liderar, desarrollar y apoyar la red de programas que componen el Ministerio EDGE de STA. ¡Es un momento emocionante para unirse a este divertido grupo! Miércoles 6:00 pm o domingo 8:30 am.

AYUDA EN LA OFICINA –Ayuda en la Oficina de Formación en la Fe con tareas administrativas, preparación de materiales y suministros para las aulas, ayuda con correos, atención telefónica, etc. Días entre semana y domingos.

ESCUELA BÍBLICA DE VACACIONES (VBS) - Equipo de VBS para ayudar a planear, decorar y coordinar la Semana de la Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones durante el verano. Las reuniones de planificación comienzan en diciembre y se realizan una o dos veces al mes hasta la semana en junio.
