  • 9:15 AM – 9:25 AM | Welcome & Opening Remarks

    Speaker: Jen Gerster, IdentiSys

  • 9:25 AM – 10:10 AM | Opening Keynote

    Speaker: Lindsay Martin-Nez

Lindsay Martin-Nez is VP of Industry Engagement at HID, where she leads thought leadership, industry narrative-building, and content strategy for the Secure Issuance division. Before joining HID, she spent 16 years at BadgePass. She's the author of BadgePassion, host of the podcast Identity in Action, and a contributor to the SIA Corporate Credential Design Working Group. Lindsay frequently writes and speaks about the idea that the physical badge is infrastructure for belonging, not just a security tool.

Session Topic: Lindsay will walk through what happens when you treat the badge as an identity statement first and an access control tool second. Drawing on polling data showing over 80% of enterprises and universities are unhappy with their current badge design (and often can't name who owns it), plus real examples from HID's own global rebadging of 5,000 employees across 70+ offices, this talk gives HR leaders, IT and security professionals, K-12 administrators, and healthcare leaders a shared framework for rethinking their own program.

  • 10:25 AM – 11:10 AM | Evolv

    Speakers: Sahin Hoque

Session Topic: Weapons Detection: Lessons Learned from the Field

Organizations are being asked to strengthen security while maintaining welcoming environments and efficient entry experiences. This session will explore how security leaders are approaching weapons detection today, what they've learned along the way, and practical considerations for planning, deploying, and managing a screening program.

  • 11:10 AM – 11:30 AM | Evolv Demo

Following the weapon detection systems training session, attendees will have the opportunity to see Evolv Express and Evolv eXpedite in action.

Experience how Evolv Express is designed to screen people entering a facility while maintaining a natural flow of traffic, and see how Evolv eXpedite extends threat detection to bags and other carried items. The live demonstration will provide attendees with a firsthand look at the screening experience and how the two technologies can work together as part of a layered approach to facility security.

  • 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Lunch & Networking

    Lunch is included with registration.

  • 12:30 PM – 1:15 PM | Proxess

    Speaker: Paul Hevesy, Proxess

Session Topic: The Problem with Brass Keys: Modernize interior doors and transition away from mechanical keys and into modern access control.

We will explore the challenges end users currently face managing two access control systems for their facilities and how best to start modernizing how they control access to ALL their doors leveraging modern technology and architecture enabling a LOW COST + LOW COMPLEXITY + HIGH SECURITY + HIGH TECHNOLOGY solution with Proxess.
