A throwback to one of our oldest and most outlandish programs from 40 years ago, Animal Rhapsody spotlights the incredible talents of the furry, feathered, slithery, and scaly.

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of animal action, a locally crafted vendor market, a pop-up art show, and just like the original 1984 Animal Rhapsody, stage performance by the legendary MyDolls! A portion of the event's proceeds will benefit Barrio Dogs and their mission to creating a better future for animals and the community.

Mascara on mutts? Rover in rouge? A dog in a derby? That’s showbiz, folks. If your pet belongs in the spotlight, we want to hear from you! We’re looking for pets who perform tricks, dress up in costumes, and generally entertain us two-legged types.

Please Note: Pet performances should last no longer than five (5) minutes. When not performing, all pets are required to stay on a leash, in their cage, etc.

Please submit only one artwork to be included within our Animal Rhapsody pop-up exhibition.

Please Note: If accepted, you’ll be asked to arrive with your work ready to hang between 2:30 and 3:30pm. Unframed works may be pinned to gallery walls. A limited number of pedestals will be available for sculpture. You’ll bring your work home with you as you depart the event.

Only vendors selling HANDMADE pet accessories and/or homemade pet treats will be accepted.

Please Note: The $25 registration fee gets you a covered 10x10 area with WiFi. You will need to bring your own display table and any chairs. You must provide your own point of sale (Square, Paypal, etc.).
