  • Authority to have a fire is hereby given to

  •  -

  • From two hours before sunset to two hours after sunrise, from the 1st day of April 2024 to the 31st day of October, 2024, inclusive.  

  • USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN DRY AND WINDY; DO NOT BURN IF WINDS ARE OVER 16 Km (10 MILES PER HOUR). NO DAY TIME BURNING.*

    * Small confined fires, supervised at all times, for the purpose of cooking or personal warmth are not subject to the above time restrictions but all other conditions must be followed .

  • To receive a fire permit, you must agree that you have read and will fully comply all with conditions in this application. Conditions will also appear on your final PDF.

  • GENERAL CONDITIONS TO BE COMPLIED WITH BY THE PERMIT HOLDER

    1. The permittee shall keep the permit at the site of burning operation conducted under the permit.

    2. The person in charge of burning operation conducted under the permit shall produce and show the permit to any officer whenever requested by the officer.

    3. THE PERMIT IS NOT VALID BETWEEN 6:00 A.M. AND 6:00 P.M.

    4. The amount to be burned at any one time shall not exceed 1 pile, 2 metres in diameter and less than 2 metres high.

    5. All slash and land clearing debris shall be in piles and windrows, separated by a distance of at least 2 metres. Windrows shall be in sections not exceeding 3 metres in length.

    6. Fires must be 2 metres from any flammable material.

    7. The permittee shall have at the location of the fire at least one person and firefighting equipment, in serviceable condition, as well as water, shovels and rakes.
