Course Refund Policy:
Our courses are designed to progressively develop skills. To gain the full benefits of the curriculum, we strongly encourage students to enroll for the entire term or course package.
Monthly Courses: Payments for monthly courses are non-refundable.
Course Packages: If you need to request a refund or suspend your enrollment, a written notice must be submitted at least two weeks in advance. Refunds for unused sessions will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, and a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
Refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days.
Missing Classes:
Parents must notify us via text or email at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule a class. If we do not receive prior notice before the scheduled class time, the class will be considered attended, regardless of the student’s actual attendance.
Ask for Leave Policy:
If your child will be absent from class we ask that you please contact us at least one week in advance. A make-up class will be available for you to schedule within one month. To ensure the best learning experience for your children, we highly encourage rescheduled classes to take place withinin the same week. The instructors have designed their lessions to fit the given time frame. Please have your child come to class on time to receive maximum learning and growing opportunities. Tardiness may result in missing key points or unable to complete their projects.
Make-up Classes:
- One rollover class is allowed per month.
- Parents must notify us in advance via text or email to qualify for a make-up.
- Make-up classes are subject to availability based on current class schedules and rosters.
- If a class is full, we may not be able to accommodate the make-up request.
*Please note: Rescheduling is not guaranteed.
EQUIPMENT DAMAGE:
Equipments we use in our curriculums are valuable and hard to replace. Please let your children know that and be careful when handling valuable equipments. Our teacher will address that as class rules. In the event of any studentfailing to follow class rules and causeing damage to our equipment, parents agree to reimburse the damage.
Class Late Pick-Up Policy
Staff has work/personal obligations after closing time each day and late pickup incurs extra costs to pay for part-time staff to stay later than scheduled time. Please consider weather/traffic conditions and have an alternative pick-up plan with neighbors, relatives or friends to ensure on time pick-up.
We will charge extended care fee after the 15 minute grace period. The extended care fee is $1/Minute per child. Time is based on front desk clock. Fees are per child, not per family.
Rights to Refuse Service:
Students in the Magikid Irvine program are expected to follow the standards and rules of Magikid Irvine. Magikid Irvine reserves the rights to refuse services to any family at any time due to any reasons we see fit.
PARENT PERMISSION AND WAIVER FORM
I/We, the parents/guardians of the student named below, understand the nature of the classes and activities that take place at: 4676 Barranca PKWY IRVINE,CA. We hereby grant permission for our son/daughter to participate. We understand that adequate and appropriate supervision will be provided. In the event of an injury requiring medical attention, I hereby grant permission to the supervising teacher(s) or staff (including volunteers) to attend to my son/daughter. If the injury warrants further medical attention, I expect every effort will be made to contact me to receive my specific authorization before action is taken. If efforts to contact me are unsuccessful, I grant permission for necessary medical treatment to be given. In addition, I hereby give my permission to the supervising teacher(s) or staff (including volunteers) to take my child to the physician, dentist, or to the hospital if an accident or serious illness occurs on the trip and I cannot be located. We recognize, however, that unanticipated situations and problems can arise on any trip, school-sponsored or otherwise, which situations or problems are not reasonably within the control of the supervising teacher(s) or staff (including volunteers). We further agree to release and hold harmless the Directors, agents, officers, employees, and volunteers, of IVY ARCHWAY,LLC Magikid Lab Irvine from any and all liability, claims, suits, demands, judgments, costs, interest and expense, (including attorneys’ fees and costs) arising from such activities, including any accident or injury to the student and the costs of medical services, or any cause beyond the control of Magikid Lab Irvine, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, and wars.
