MAAA Giving Menu

Founded in 1976, the Museum of African American Art is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that educates vistors of all ages about the arts through the lens of African American culture. Our exhibits are always FREE and open to the public.

The Giving Menu below pairs suggested donation amounts with examples of our nonprofit museum's real expenses. Your tax-deductible donation will support daily operations, improve visitor experience, and help preserve the museum's collection.

PRESERVEPreserving and storing the artwork in our museum's permanent collection is one of our most expensive responsibilities. Donate at this higher level to support conservation of paintings, preservation of works on paper, archival framing, professional art handling, and off-site fine art storage for the museum's permanent collection.
