  • 1. Lesson Schedule

    a) Lessons are offered for a duration of 30 mins, 45 mins, or 60 mins. Lessons may be held at the Studio or Online. b) Where the Student is under the age of 18, Lesson scheduling must be confirmed between the Teacher and the Parent/Guardian. c) After the introductory lesson, subsequent lessons are considered recurring weekly. If at any point you decide to permanently change your lesson day/time, discontinue lessons, or not renew a lesson package, you must give at least two weeks advance notice. Once you forfeit your time slot, it becomes available to others, and there is no guarantee you will regain the same slot.
  • 2. Fees

    a) Fees must be paid in full before the first lesson. Lessons will be suspended if payment is not complete. b) Payment methods accepted include Zelle or Card (4% tax). c) All lesson payments are final. Lessons purchased must be used within 6 months. d) Lesson fees are subject to annual review. The Teacher will give the Parent/Guardian/Student at least two months’ notice of increase. e) Lessons are purchased in packs of 4 (Quad), 10 (Deca), or 20 (Venti). We offer one introductory lesson to serve as a trial assessment. Introductory lessons are 30 mins. No hidden fees, all Fees are visible on kx2music.com.
  • 3. Cancellation Policy

    a) A minimum of 24 hours notice is required, otherwise, the client is responsible for full payment of the Lesson. Lessons cancelled with appropriate notice will be rescheduled. In the case of an emergency, the lesson will be held online or rescheduled at the Teacher's discretion. b) If a Lesson is cancelled under 24 hours and the Teacher agrees to reschedule, the rescheduled lesson cannot be cancelled, even with appropriate notice. If the client still decides to cancel the rescheduled lesson, the client is responsible for full payment of the Lesson. c) If the Teacher is unable to give any scheduled Lesson, the Lesson will be arranged for another date. d) To maintain a healthy environment, students exhibiting symptoms of illness should not attend in-person lessons.
  • 4. General

    a) The Student/Parent/Guardian is responsible for any damage incurred by the Student to an instrument, accessory, or music owned by Kx2 Music. b) The Teacher must be informed of any medical or other condition affecting the Student. c) Any lesson time missed by the Teacher (i.e., lateness) will be made up; Any lesson time missed by the Student is not required to be made up by the Teacher. d) Students are required to bring a folder or binder and their individual instrument (if applicable) to each lesson.
  • 5. Photography Consent

    a) Photos/Videos may be taken at Showcases, Recitals, Summer Camps, or other various performances, and shared on the official Kx2 Music website and/or instagram page. Photos/Videos will never include students' names or information.
  • Notes for Guidance

    It is important to note that, while a Teacher will use his or her best endeavors to ensure the Student makes satisfactory progress, this cannot be guaranteed. In particular, careful regular practice as advised by the Teacher is a prerequisite of success on any musical instrument or in any musical endeavor. This agreement is subject to the conditions printed above and may only be varied with the agreement of both parties. The terms of this contract agreement are confidential. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Kx2 Music and the Parent/Guardian/Student regarding the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior discussions, negotiations, and agreements, whether oral or written.
