Consignment Agreement

I hereby agree to consign items for sale through Charlie’s Consignment and Black Lab Records in accordance with the following terms:

Shipping and Handling:
All items must be shippable and will be shipped within 3 to 5 business days following a purchase.
Each item must be shipped with a Black Lab Records sticker, which will be provided by the consignor.

Fees and Payment:
Consignment fees will be automatically deducted from sales proceeds.
The net balance will be transferred to you on a monthly basis.

Customer Care:
I agree to uphold exceptional customer service standards, also referred to as “white glove” or concierge service.
I will never be rude to a customer despite their adverse behavior.

Listing Items:
To consign items, you will need to text or email photos of the items to the shop owner, who will then post them on the site.

Marketing and Costs:
The shop owner will cover costs related to SEO, Google Ads, website domain, and related expenses.
The consigner reserves the right to promote your item on social media, website, blog or any other digital platform and has full creative control.

Unsold Items and Fees:
If an item does not sell within 90 days, it may be subject to an increased consignment fee:
After 90 days, the consignment fee will double to 40%.
After 180 days (6 months), the consignment fee will increase again, totaling 50% of the sale price.
After 1 year the consignment fee is 75%
The consignment reserves the right to remove the item from the website at anytime.

Item Withdrawal:
You have the right to withdraw an item from Charlie’s Consignment or Black Lab Records with seven days’ notice.
If the item is sold within the seven-day notice period, you are still obligated to sell it at the buyer’s price.

Donation:
I agree to donate 5% of my sales to a local animal charity.
If I do not have a local animal charity or do not wish to manage the donation, the shop owner will provide me with options. This will result in a 25% consignment fee, with the 5% donation being made to an animal charity chosen by the shop owner.
By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge and accept the conditions outlined above.
