We are currently seeking eager, professional caregivers who are committed to making a difference in children’s lives and who take pride in delivering exceptional care.

Whether you’re looking for occasional babysitting jobs, long-term nanny positions, or something in between, we’ll work with you to find opportunities that match your skills, personality, and schedule.

    What We’re Looking For in Our Caregivers
    Our families trust us to provide the very best — and we trust our caregivers to uphold that standard. To be considered, you must:

    • Be at least 18 years old
    • Have a minimum of 2 years of paid childcare experience (after turning 18)
      • nanny expereince preferred, but we will also consider daycare, preschool, certified teacher, and ABA therapist. 
    • Hold a valid driver’s license and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Be CPR certified (or willing to become certified)
    • Successfully complete our thorough screening process (including reference checks, background checks, and an in-depth interview)
    • Exhibit professionalism, knowledge of the industry, reliability, and excellent caregiving skills

    When you work with Motor City Sitters:

    You keep 100% of your earnings  we never take a percentage of your pay

    • Families hiring nannies are required to offer guaranteed hours/pay and pay legally “on the books”
    • You’ll have the flexibility to choose the jobs that work for you based on your skills, preferences, and availability
    • You’ll receive ongoing agency support, guidance, and feedback to help you thrive in your role
    • We’ll provide access to training and professional development opportunities to help you grow in your childcare career
    • Our team will be there to help navigate scheduling changes, job-related concerns, or unexpected situations


    How the Process Works

    Apply — Complete our application form and submit the required documents (resume, certifications, and references).


    Interview & Screening — Participate in a detailed initial interview so we can get to know your strengths and preferences.


    Get Matched — We’ll connect you with opportunities that align with your skills, experience, and schedule.


    Work Directly With Families — Families pay you directly at the end of each shift (for sitters) or as outlined in your nanny contract.
