Founded in 1976, the Museum of African American Art is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that educates vistors of all ages about the arts through the lens of African American culture. Our exhibits are always FREE and open to the public. Join today to support MAAA and keep cultural art accessible in our community!

The museum membership levels below may offer priority booking and/or discounts for qualifying event rentals. Event rentals requested as membership benefits must meet the museum's standard event guidelines. MAAA only rents event space to other nonprofits, associations, and community organizations hosting events that align with the museum's nonprofit mission and our event capacity. The museum is not a venue for fundraisers or political events.
