SSDA Parent Association Membership Agreement
This Membership Agreement is entered into by the SSDA Parent Association and <> and is in effect during the 2024-2025 Dance Season.
1. Member Benefits
As part of membership with the SSDA Parent Association, members will receive a free ticket for their performance team dancer(s) to attend the end of the year banquet/celebration. Only members with current dues are eligible to participate in PA-sponsored fundraisers
2. Membership Dues
Membership dues will cost $35 a year per family.
Members who have not paid their dues by September 1, 2024 will forfeit any dancer account funds generated through SSDA Parent Association to the SSDA Parent Association general fund.
3. Meetings
Board members shall hold monthly meetings, either virtual or in person, in accordance with the by-laws.
General membership meetings shall be held quarterly. Members are required to attend one general membership meeting per season.
Committees shall meet as determined by the committee chairs.
4. Fundraising
Members are required to either raise a minimum of $50 through their selected SSDA Parent Association sponsored fundraising activities or make a direct donation of $50. This requirement must be fulfilled by January 1, 2025.
5. Liability
The member will not hold the Parent Association liable for any tangible or intangible damage that might happen to them while participating in the membership.
6. Committees
All members who are current in dues may join in one or more committees
a) Fundraising committee
i) Overseen by: Teresa Pere
ii) This committee is responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling and running all fundraisers in the name of SSDA parent association.
b) Outreach Committee
i) Overseen by: Melissa Jones
ii) This committee is responsible for identifying organizations and methods for the SSDA Performance Team to give back and foster positive relationships with the community.
c) Celebrations Committee
i) Overseen By: MJ Thompson
ii) This committee is responsible for the planning of celebrations(Christmas, end of year,etc) for the performance team members and families.
d) Recital
i) Overseen by: Giselle Anderson
ii) This committee is responsible for organizing all volunteers for recital.
e) Christmas Parade
i) Overseen by: Anne Nowak
ii) This committee is responsible for organizing the Christmas parade volunteers and participants.
