    A great program to learn all about horses and handling in a safe, and patient environment. The primary aim of this program is to provide children and youth with a safe introduction to horses. Students will learn theory, stable management practices, as well as riding.

  • This program offers Children and Youth the chance to work in a natural outdoor setting, fostering qualities such as loyalty, trust, leadership, patience, responsibility, and teamwork.

    Participants will immerse themselves in barn management practices, equine health, and caring for horses, cultivating not just riding skills but also a deep understanding of horses, farm life, and the importance of community work ethic.

    Our program provides children with the opportunity to work with horses in a safe and supportive environment that prioritizes safety and enjoyable learning experiences.

    Our aim is to impart horsemanship and life skills that will shape your child's character positively for life. Horses are exceptional teachers, and we are privileged to offer their wisdom to enrich the lives of as many children as possible through our program.

    5. Groundwork with Various Horses

    6. Riding and Developing Riding Skills

    7. Learning about Horse Breeds and Anatomy

    8. Understanding Tack and Its Uses

    9. Barn Maintenance

    10. Feeding a Horse

    11. Nature Walks

    12. Horse-Themed Games and Crafts

     

    The primary aim of this program is to provide young children with a safe introduction to horses.

     

    Sessions are 1.5 hours

    Grooming, Feed, Groundwork/Riding, Barn Managment

    First Meet and Greet Introduction is Free 

     $120.00 + HST

     

    Invoicing and Payment Policy:

    - An invoice will be sent once your registration has been reviewed and confirmed by our team. A confirmation email will be sent to notify you that your enrollment has been processed.

    - Payment in full is required at the time of registration. 

    - In case of a withdrawal due to medical reasons, a doctor's note must be provided for full refund.

    - A non-refundable $80.00 administrative fee will apply for all withdrawals.

    - No exceptions will be made to this policy. 

     

    Payment Instructions:

    - Payments must be submitted before your lesson. Please note that spots are limited throughout the day, and submission of registration does not guarantee your spot on the selected date unless you have been contacted by administration.

     

    Weather Policy:

    - In the event of inclement weather that poses a risk to safety, the Lesson may be canceled. This decision will only be made in cases of extreme weather conditions. A rescheduled date will be offered during that time.

    Dress Code:

    - Dress appropriately for outdoor activities.

    - Remember to Bring sunscreen, hats, and any other necessary items for outdoor protection.

     

    Liability Waiver:

    - All attendees are required to sign and complete a liability waiver, which will be provided along with the invoice and registration confirmation.

    Registration Guidelines:

    - Please only complete the registration if you are certain about attending a program.

    - Program spots are limited, and registering for a date without following up on correspondence will result in future registration restrictions.
