The winner of this award will be a person, business, or group with a significant, demonstrated contribution in community development & support – often in many facets of their practice. 8. A Pair and a Spare
The backstage angel that saves your assels every time. They’ll share and loan items, always bring snacks for the group, have a second to help with costume repairs, an extra length of wig tape, or happily buckle your shoes when you’ve put your corset on first. Is it organisation, self-discipline, or some kind of psychic skill that allows them to anticipate our forgetfulness? Either way, we all owe one or two of our performances to these lifesavers.

The pep-talk expert who reassures you that nobody noticed your costume malfunction or reminds you of the old adage “you are the only one who knows your choreography” when you need to hear it.
