• WESTEC - Request for Service

  • Requests will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Requests may be denied if received later than two week prior to the event. If the event is cancelled, the sponsoring organization will be responsible for any expenses incurred in preparation. No request will be considered valid if it is not completely filled out. WESTEC reserves the right to refuse service.

    The sponsoring organization is responsible for reserving the venue where the event will take place. You must reserve the space early enough to allow WESTEC time to set up and tear down equipment. Depending on your event this may take several hours or even the evening prior to the event.   • Cost for Services

    Sponsoring organizations will be billed costs for Westec services following the event. Charges are based on the number of technician hours incurred during setup, the actual event, and the teardown. The charges are also all-inclusive of equipment unless otherwise communicated.

    WIU Registered Student Organizations - $18/hour
    WIU Campus Departments - $23/hour
    Non-WIU Clients - $30/hour
